[RL, Tony & Tim] Always had some mighty fine wine

Malibu was damn nice, compared to Gotham right now. Tim was definitely trying not to think o f Gotham, though; he had the time to spare, and Tony was clearly freaking out. And since it was over Bruce, the Boy Wonder figured it unlikely that he'd get the talking he needed.

Slipping through the unlocked door, Tim shut it behind him and ran a hand through his hair, walking into the unfamiliar house (if it could be called that). "Tony?"

Jarvis lit the hallway, murmuring that Tony would be out shortly and when he emerged, that same irritated nervousness didn't seem apparent at all. In fact, he actually looked ... calm. Collected. "Hey."

"Hey." Jesus Christ, Jarvis was actually cooler in person than in a movie. Not that that shouldn't be expected. "You cool?" Hmm, he forgot that he sucked at this. Way to go, Drake. "I mean, you look fine."

"Should I not?" he offered, ushering him into the 'living' room of sorts, flopping on the couch. "It's... really not as bad as it sounds, I was just-- I am embarrassed about it. I don't foresee this ending well." Is that regret in Tony Stark's voice?

Sounds like regret to Tim. Tilting his head to the side, he looked down at Tony, hands in his pockets. "Things happen. I doubt everything'll blow over and go back to normal. But it doesn't have to blow up, right?" Sitting down next to Tony, Tim leaned back in the couch.

"Comforting, really," Tony muttered, shifting to chew thoughtfully at a thumbnail. Suddenly, awkwardly, "Have you talked to him at all?"

He's silent for a moment, mouth pressed into a tight line. "Not about this, sorry." He ran a hand through his hair before shoving it back in his pocket. "It'll calm down. Trust me. He always needs time. Plenty of it." The last was muttered, eyes rolling for effect.

"Yeah," he agreed half-heartedly; he wasn't the kind to wait things out and despite agreeing with him, he followed with at thoughtful, "I should call him."

Tim rolled his eyes again and turned his head to look at Tony. "What're you going to say? Nothing worse than static on the phone."

Damnit Tim, don't ruin my groove. He rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

"Sorry is probably a good start." Thank youuuu Ms. Potts.

Tim's an expert groove ruiner. "Maybe. Are you sorry?"
