[RL, Sue & Robin] We Get What We Take

Tim had regretted not wearing his winter suit for the world hop; things were much more comfortable in the tumbler. But at least he got to the Baxter Building in one piece. He had to look into this world-hopping technology, it was too useful not to have.

Though entering through front doors weren't really his style, Tim couldn't remember (from the movie, or the comic books he used to read) if the Baxter Building had any serious defenses. Safest bet was the most mundane, and there's really nothing odder than riding an elevator up a few stories while wearing a cape and tights.

The computer of a receptionist had let Sue know that someone was coming up the elevator. Ah, that must be that hacker. She had decided on meeting him in the unstable molecule 'uniform'. Just if she needed to turn invisible.

Leaning against the wall, she waited patiently. At least Ben wasn't with him, the elevator would take an hour at best, then.

When the elevator opened, Tim was standing to the side; just in case. Being too cautious - well, he couldn't say it had never done him wrong, because it certainly had, but it was still better than stupidity. When gunfire failed to spike the elevator, he stepped out, nodding once to Sue.

"Don't think I introduced myself. Robin."

She nodded back to him, extending a hand. "Sue Storm, the Invisible Woman. Welcome to the Baxter Building, Robin."

Tim reached out a gauntleted hand to shake hers briefly, looking around under the whited out lenses of his mask. "Nice place." His inner geek was dying to snoop around, but that would be suppressed for the time being. "You said you had a good computer set up?"

She nodded once, letting go of his hand. "I'll tell Reed the compliment. It's set up in the lab, follow me." Sue had started walking towards a glass door.

Following, he took the chance to look around the level. Yes, he was going to compare this to comics when he got home. "So, the skrulls. Do you know where they are?"

Sue turned her head slightly. "There's a volcanic island in the Pacific; we've located the base and its there."

"Good to know." Made tracking a hell of a lot easier, in any case.
