[RL, Eddie & Tim] Open Doors To Madness
Tim watched the scenery roll by from the back of Happy Hogan's car, something she really never thought she'd be doing. Then again, she was pretty sure she would never be a she, and that Happy's employer would never kiss her. Go fucking figure, right?
As they sped away from Tony's place, Tim rubbed her head, and turned up the air conditioning. Good thing she'd let Happy drive, because walking all the way would have fucking sucked. Still, she wasn't letting him take her all the way there. Getting out five minutes from where Nygma was supposed to meet her, she managed to thank Happy and, after he left, headed in a mostly straight line to the park they'd picked. Once there, she found a tree to get out of the sun, and leaned against it's trunk. Okay, so. Whatever, right? She wasn't going to tell anyone, Tony wasn't going to tell anyway. It was just an accident. Yep. And Tim pretty much believed it, too.
Getting drunk? Best damn idea she'd had all week.

But he was, first and foremost, a thinker. And then he was an opportunist. Dangerous combination.
This was the perfect utility to have in his belt, so to speak. And although Rufus was kind enough to grant him passage--Edward cringed at the implications; he didn't like them at all, the favor was too suspicious, but he needed it--the hopping of worlds in itself was somewhat nauseating.
As the man strolled past a few tanning oaks, he took a deep sigh. At least the sun warmed his back nicely. The sky was a crisp blue littered with puzzle pieces of clouds. Charming, really. Quite like that nymph of a girl leaning against her tree--
Fuck. Edward did a double take.
"Tim?"
no subject
Fuck.
"Ye-heah, hi Eddie." Drunk? Yes. Still retaining mostly proper speech functions? Yes. "You got here okay." Stating the obvious? Better than smalltalk.

"How? The only person you know here is Tony--" Oh. Oh dear God. "That is disgusting." Judgmental olive green eyes smoldered over her face. "I guess it's true what they say about female Robins."

"Can we just get-" She cut herself off with a jump, one hand grabbing at the trunk to hold herself up (which almost didn't work as she nearly toppled), the other digging in her front pocket for her vibrating phone. "Fuck," she muttered, not even bothering to see who was calling before hitting the ignore. Scowling at the device, she set it on the low tree branch to her right and ran a hand through her hair. "-just get this over with?"

Edward glared at the device. "Really?" Of course. "Fine, fine, Tim. Remember our deal." He placed a hand against the bark of the tree, leaning into it. Looking down at Tim. It was a pleasing form, he had to admit. His own slender body tilted at an angle, his sharp eyes examining the girl's careful, drunken movements. Liquor, most likely. A small smirk wandered across his angular face, dancing with flickers of amusement. "Shall we?"

Besides, Tim wasn't gay. Right.
She leaned back against the tree as he got closer, biting the inside of her lip and lifting a hand to point at him. "One favor. And don't hold this over my head." Yeah, like that would happen. It was worth a shot, anyway.

Or rather, he knew where to ignore it.
He slowly stretched out an elegant hand, touching under Tim's chin with two fingers. And lifted the girl's face upwards.

This was an intellectual battle. Tim was his knight. Or queen, maybe.
Tongue peeked out to taste lips, and he savored the soft texture.

But here she was, pressed against against him, feeling heady and hot, and uncomfortable - but it was entirely easier to mutter a babbled 'fuck it,' opening her mouth against his tongue.

Tim didn't quite like the idea of admitting that Tony was right. It was almost as uncomfortable as thinking about how Dick would react to this. She wouldn't believe him when he said he cared, so she went and kissed Eddie. He wouldn't understand why, he'd just be hurt and Tim couldn't tell him about this. Geeze, he would hate her, and -
Her hand clenched around tie and shirt. "Eddie," she was trying to tell him to stop, but it didn't come out quite as intended.

But that was beside the point. Edward found his hands creeping up her shoulders, gently touching her neck. The manner she pulled on his tie it-- Well, it thrilled him. Brought back memories of his more deviant times, with Query and Echo and-- A moan slipped from Eddie's lips as she clenched his gray shirt. Then she spoke in name on that voice, so predatory and beguiling. Her vocal notes dripping with sultry allure.
He balked. "Wh-what?"
Confusion ran riot in his mind. This was Tim, Tim Drake the Boy Wonder-- And yet. His nose nuzzled hers, his lips wanted. "What?"

"Oh God," he tried to take a step back, and only succeeding in choking himself a little. It was only supposed to be a kiss, a small nothing of affection and this-- This had mutated into something much more.
"Of course, yes," he clasped his tie knot, trying to reclaim the hued fabric. "So... So did Eris say this would work instantly? Why are you still female?"
Oh God this was awkward.
