She waves it off and steps back to let him in. Her room is the one she had in Drakken's mountain lair; two of the walls appear to be hewn out of solid rock, and overall it's a bit bare, without much in the way of personal touches.

[He shrugged, a little embarrassed to be caught out.] Some things are worth cataloging. [Well, everything was. But he wasn't going to point out that he was pretty much a trained creep.]

Nice room, [he said instead, eying the rocky walls.] Where's this from?

Shego gave him a blank look over her shoulder. "I think I once told someone my bra size while drunk. Do you have that on file?"

She sat down on one end of a sofa standing against one wall - three seats, kind of low and uncomfortable but resilient enough for someone of her furniture-beating temperament - and indicated the far seat to him.

"This would be Drakken's Pacific island lair. Or - maybe the Himalayan. I don't remember, he got them all built by the same contractor so they all looked the same after a while."

Uh - no, [Tim said, blinking at that question. He wasn't that bad. Really!

Sitting on the other side of the couch, a smile quirked on corner of his mouth, and he glanced over at her.] He got a contractor? Is there a special villains' contractor in your world, too, or are the regular ones just dumb?

"A villains' contractor? There's an entire villains' industry. I even went to an expo a little while back." She leaned back, crossing her legs. "Everybody's got their own gimmicks but in the end some things are just universal - henchmen, death rays, boobytrapped lairs? It's a growing market. If I didn't enjoy the field work so much I might've gone into consulting, I hear that's where the real money is."

[Tim snorted, shaking his head.] Try multiversal. I know of a handful back home that do the same. Dunno if I'd call what they do an expo, though. More like underground auctions.

"Yeah, well, let me refer you back to the general incompetence of our police force. Underground wasn't really all that necessary. They probably saw the costumes and the ridiculous weapons and just assumed the whole thing was a bunch of rich comic-book nerds."
