My inmate has told me that yours did inform him that he made a deal with Iago to kill someone - which I do believe is between you and the Marquis if that is the case, but you ought to be informed. However, if it is not the case, I would like to make it clear that I do not appreciate my inmate being manipulated against the man he loves.

Nothing. It's a request of mine, actually. Sylar has this need to get new abilities - superpowers, basically - but he feels he has to kill in order to do it. It's possible for him to learn a better way. I don't have any special powers, and the Admiral won't give me any; I can't be the one to work with him.

But I know your inmate from back home. He has abilities that Sylar can take. It needs to be done without killing him, and I've talked to Wilson about this - but he'll want something in return, first and foremost the abilities that have been limited here.

Is this okay with you?

Yes, I offered him a deal. It was a test. I knew he would exclude Judas and kill the guy, proving he's abusive; he would tell Judas and kill the guy, proving he's still a murderer; or, he would not tell Judas and not kill the guy, proving he's perfectly willing to betray me.

Really, it was a win-win situation to know where he stood. I told Iago I would accept the blame if he killed the person.. it's not like I was trying to get away with it.

Trying to get away with it isn't the point, Sylar. You're not only manipulating Iago, you're manipulating Judas. That isn't any of your business. If you think their relationship's abusive, then you can handle it in other ways. Making deals to murder someone as a way to prove that isn't the way to deal with it.

I wasn't manipulating Iago. He made his choice of his own free will. Judas is a friend and he deserved to know what his so-called lover is actually like. He wouldn't listen to me unless I gave him an example that he could witness for himself.
