[So after this beautiful moment in their relationship, Tim decided that what he really needed was to research why people occasionally feel the need to drown their sorrows. Tim is a very good researcher

Am I, I mean am I weird for thinking that, you know, that when you sleep with someone it means you really love them? I don't know, maybe it's really old fashioned, or, I don't know just old, but that's how I feel about it, and I guess I don't know why anyone would want to be close like that with someone if you didn't.
And you know what? It's like, it's like - [YOU CAN SO SEE THE LIGHTBULB TURNING ON OVER HIS HEAD] it's like making love is a doorway. But it's a one-way trip, because you step through and you can't go back, and it's not a step you take if you don't love someone. Right? Isn't it?
I mean am I totally and completely out of date here? I just think that--
[It's at this point that there is some serious pounding on his door, and Tim looks up.]
Tim, open the door! [Yep, that's definitely Dick yelling. And then pausing.] You come up with the worst metaphors!
[Barge, this is Tim's stubborn face. He's kind of forgotten that the device is still on.] No! I said I was fine, go back to your, you know, your place!
Tim, seriously, open the door right now before you embarrass yourself. [A beat.] I mean, more than you already managed to. [And after realizing that this is still broadcasting:] Put the comm down!
[Instead of following sensible advice, however, Tim is picking up his device and trying to drag a chair over to barricade the door. Movement seems quite wobbly.] I just want to say what I'm thinking, and I'm thinking that sex is a very loving doorway! There's nothing wrong with my metaphors.
((OOC: This would be Tim recycling a speech from when he was fifteen. Please mock him mercilessly. Obviously, blue speech is Dick's!))
